摘要: The highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 viruses usually cause severe diseases and high mortality in infected humans. However, the tissue tropism underlying pathogenesis of virus infection humans have not been clearly elucidated yet. In this study, an autopsy was conducted to better understand distributions tissues humans, whether can replicate extrapulmonary tissues. We found that lungs had higher viral load than spleen, whereas no detectable heart, liver, kidney, large intestine, small or brain. Specifically, left lung (7.1 log10 copies per ml) relation right (5.7 ml), resulting more pathological damage lung, contained both positive- negative-stranded RNA. there existed a low level spleen (3.8 with absence positive-stranded Our results indicate replication mainly occurs lungs, degree is correlated lungs. low-load might be introduced through blood circulation other ways.
