Effects of oxygen vacancy on the electronic structure and multiferroics in sol–gel derived Pb0.8Co0.2TiO3 thin films

摘要: The single phase Pb0.8Co0.2TiO3 thin films were synthesized on a Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate by the sol–gel route. present exhibited homogeneous microstructure with low porosity. O 1s X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to detect amount of oxygen vacancies. ferroelectric measurements showed that ferroelectricity deteriorates increase in number absorption (XAS) and XPS study electronic structure. results indicated decreased might be ascribed weakened hybridization between 2p Pb 6s Ti 3d orbitals. ferromagnetic behaviors also observed saturated magnetization raised monotonously vacancy rising due enhanced F-center exchange interaction. Magnetoelectric coupling increase.
