摘要: Broad differences in the synthesis kinetics and morphology of zeolite A from two silicate sources (soluble Ludox colloidal silica) different aluminium (aluminium isopropoxide freshly prepared hydroxide) are reported. The attributed to rate limiting steps syntheses. reactions have been followed by small angle X-ray scattering time first mixing constituents until final separation crystals. soluble Ludox/aluminium hydroxide syntheses produce excellent cubic crystals 300 nm–1 µm size range. products an interesting texture on scale nanometres but with as source, resulting has a spherical ca. 100 nm. Possible reasons for development these morphologies discussed.
