Human Herpes Virus 8 in Skin Disease: An Immunoperoxidase Analysis

摘要: AbstractHuman herpes virus 8 (HHV8) has been consistently implicated in the pathogenesis of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) and studied a variety skin lesions, principally by means polymerase chain reaction. With this mind, we sought to characterize lesions paraffin immunoperoxidase studies using antibody HHV8 latent nuclear antigen 1. We benign malignant vascular including KS (eight cases), hemangiomas (six), angiolymphoid hyperplasia (three), angiosarcoma (two).
