Identifying Participation in the Informal Economy Using Survey Research Methods1

摘要: There is growing interest in the extent of informal economic activity as a form income generating or subsistence within first world economies, but little agreement exists literature to what constitutes work, activities addition monetary exchanges make up economy, and where these are located. The lack consensus on proper definition ,that economy reflected systematic data available investigate forms work. This paper investigates using telephone survey research techniques develop inexpensive efficient sources answer questions about forms, prevalence, location uncovers problems associated with developing based measures activity, it also demonstrates viability this approach well generally high level participation both rural urban places.
