摘要: The formation of trans FA residues in membrane phospholipids may be due to a free radical-catalyzed isomerization process occurring the cis unsaturated moieties. Radical stress is well documented inflammatory processes atopic diseases, but no data are yet available about possible association with detected these patients. We investigated presence lipid isomers erythrocyte and T-lymphocyte membranes 26 children affected by eczema/dermatitis syndrome (AEDS). Trans were found both cell membranes, up total content 2.7 4.9% composition, respectively. By using geometrical library derived from vitro models thiyl isomerization, oleic arachidonic acid detected. statistical significance was evaluated comparison an age-matched control group. These results suggest role endogenous radical path lipids, complementary dietary contribution, which can involved impairment AEDS. This study contributes lipidomic research regarding double bond structure influence change lipids physiology diseases.
