摘要: With increasing clinical use of cardiac CT imaging it is important that all health care providers referring for or administering such examinations are familiar with the concepts and values radiation dosimetry in as well basic principles protection. There technical differences pertinent to dose between scanner types currently being used heart coronary arteries. As a result these differences, typically higher when examination performed multidetector-row (MDCT) than electron beam CT. Several techniques have been described reduce MDCT by varying X-ray tube current during examination. The volume computed tomographic index (CTDIvol), length product (DLP), effective (E) most useful parameters describe compare doses received from examinations. When comparing scanning protocols types, degree image noise must be considered. Diagnostic, rather aesthetic, quality images should factor guiding development imaging. Cardiac ordered only qualified providers, ordering clinicians aware their responsibility weighing risks exposure against expected benefits.
