摘要: The photographic emulsion consists of the conductive silver halides and insulating gelatin, such a heterogeneous medium shows dielectric dispersion, called Maxwell-Wagner effect. From measurement, ionic conductivity small bromide crystals is measured for both pure cadmium containing emulsions. grains 1.0×10-6 Ω-1 cm-1 with an activation energy 0.42 eV proportional to surface-volume ratio grains. origin high here seems due nature surface. decreases as concentration increased by adding 0.08 mol per bromide, it factor about 10-2 0.78 eV.
