摘要: Abstract The mechanical properties were evaluated on specimens of AlSi 9 Cu 3 –T6 (333-T6) gravity casting (GC) alloy at room temperature. GC 333-T6 showed higher yield strength (YS), ultimate tensile (UTS) and quality Index but lower hardening capacity than 333 aluminum without heat treatment. In addition, the offered a five-fold in cyclic deformation monotonic deformation. Cyclic characteristics obtained from LCF test. exhibited stabilization low strain amplitudes (0.2%) (0.25–0.35%). extent increased with increasing amplitude. Basquin' s equation Coffin–Manson relationships could be used to describe fatigue lifetime this alloy. Additionally, micro-cracks initiated pores would preferentially pass through elongated Si particles amplitudes. crack propagation was mainly characterized by formation dimples or striations different Meanwhile, larger zone smaller spacing total amplitude gave rise longer life. Furthermore, final fast fracture tended occur defects fast-fracture region, such as large voids, small pits inclusions.
