摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to discuss some fundamental aspects regarding the anomalies in passive scalar field advected by forced homogenous and isotropic turbulence, inspection analytical properties governing equations with aid direct numerical simulation (DNS) data.Design/methodology/approach Results from a pseudo‐spectral DNS unitary‐Schmidt‐ number low Reynolds flow field, Reλ=50 70 (based on Taylor microscale λ) allow for preliminary assessment developed model.Findings Manipulation (which are monotonic) reveals that unboundedness gradient magnitude not ruled out mathematical correspondent conservation equation. Classic intermittency effects have been reproduced, such as non‐Gaussian behavior statistics, loss local isotropy, multi‐fractal ...
