摘要: An indexable cut-off saw is used for cutting metal components, e.g. a bearing cap cluster into separate caps. The has circular tool body mounting on an arbour and this flat side faces narrow outer periphery. A plurality of circumferentially equally spaced inserts are mounted at the periphery body, these being arranged in groups three such that total width cut divided between actions cooperating inserts. These include central insert centrally left right pockets extending body. rectangular configuration presenting straight edges, while each group presents curving face. preferably form cylindrical cutter disc with end providing edge disposed about discs face thereof angle within 1°-15° coincidence direction travel during cutting.
