A novel low temperature synthesis route for SmFeAsO1−xFx bulk superconductor with improved transport properties

摘要: Abstract Polycrystalline bulk samples of SmFeAsO 1− x F with 0 ≤   ≤ 0.4 are synthesized at a temperature as low 850 °C using partially reacted precursor. The dependence resistivity and ac susceptibility measurements show superconducting transitions for all the fluorine doped T C 55.3 K, is observed sample  = 0.4, processed such lower temperature. Moreover, first time, transport J (752 A/cm 2 12 K) measured in optimized (  = 0.3) ambient pressure. new synthesis route which drastically reduces processing temperatures can be great use conductor applications respect rare earth iron oxypnictides general Sm1111 particular.
