摘要: The present invention comprises apparatus and methods for processing instant messaging or peer-to-peer code, that is, intercepting, examining and/or controlling code in a network. A protocol parser is implemented order to intercept the as it passes through channel transfer proscribed scanner. “Man middle” technology may be used well decryptor/encryptor components placed between client server which permit examination of by scanner communications channel. Embodiments various platforms, including Unix® Windows® NT are disclosed.
