摘要: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation of (nonviable) bioprosthetic valves has been proven a valid alternative to conventional surgical in patients at high or prohibitive mortality risk. In this study we present the vitro proof-of-principle newly developed tissue-engineered heart for minimally invasive implantation, with ultimate aim adding unique advantages living tissue regeneration capabilities continuously developing transcatheter technologies.
