摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality in both men and women, with about 1.61 million new diagnoses 1.38 deaths worldwide 2008. Non-small cell lung (NSCLC), including squamous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, undifferentiated large accounts for more than 80 % diagnoses. Unfortunately, at time diagnosis, majority patients have advanced disease, which a systemic, palliative treatment primary therapeutic option. Considering that 47 all cancers are diagnosed older 70 years (14 years), NSCLC elderly an increasingly common problem, practitioner oncology must face. The relationship between aging not clear; considerable controversy surrounds mechanisms lead to increased incidence aged. It worthy note frequencies specific age-specific.
