摘要: This paper reviews the key issues in hypermedia systems as an overture to proposal of a new semiotic paradigm for data and coding models. The hypertext concept permits users interact with manage high-level conceptual objects rather than symbol streams. Current can best be defined amalgamation multimedia. While model enables this goal, that is not true models other media forms. A addresses these deficiencies supports object-oriented interaction compressed multimedia streams proposed. initially presents overview model, contrasting it existing framework then presented brief review cognitive, psychological, principles. analysis culminates semiotically based representations predisposed paradigm.
