摘要: Expectations, which are beliefs about a future state of affairs, constitute basic psychological mechanism that underlies virtually all human behavior. Although expectations serve as central component in many theories organizational behavior, they have received limited attention the justice literature. The goal this paper is to introduce concept and explore its implications for understanding applicant perceptions. To conceptualize expectations, we draw on research conducted multiple disciplines. We discuss three sources - direct experience, indirect influences, other use typology identify likely antecedents selection contexts. also impact attitudes, cognitions, behaviors, focusing specifically outcomes tied environments. Finally, theoretical incorporating into perceptions practical significance
