摘要: Abstract Semiconducting zinc oxide nanowires (NWs) and nanobelts (NBs) are a unique group of quasi-one-dimensional nanomaterial. This review mainly focuses on the rational synthesis, structure analysis, novel properties applications NWs NBs in nanotechnology. First, we will discuss design synthetic strategies synthesis via vapor phase chemical growth approaches. Secondly, vapor–solid process for based nanostructures be described details. We illustrate polar surface dominated phenomena, such as formation nanosprings, nanorings nanohelices single-crystal oxide. Third, describe electrical, optoelectronic, field emission, mechanical individual NBs. Finally, some devices made using ultra-sensitive biological nanosensors, solar cell, light emitting diodes, nanogenerators, nano-piezotronic devices. ZnO is ideal nanogenerators converting nano-scale energy into electricity owing to its coupled piezoelectric semiconductive properties. The designed this characteristic family piezotronics, which new electronic components that controlled by external forces/pressure.
