摘要: Abstract Experimental and theoretical studies of the vibrational modes carbon nanotubes are reviewed. The closing a 2D graphene sheet into tubule is found to lead several new infrared (IR)- Ramanactive modes. number these depend on symmetry not diameter. Their diameter-dependent frequencies calculated using zone-folding model. Results Raman scattering arc-derived carbons containing nested or single-wall discussed. They compared theory that observed for other sp 2 also present in sample.
