摘要: A core drilling at Almbacken in the village Sodra Sandby, Scania, southern Sweden, penetrated a c. 30 thick succession of upper lower Cambrian and middle strata. Only uppermost part (Gislov Formation) was recovered, comprising 1.50 m unfossiliferous siltstones thin limestone bed base core. The contains most complete so far documented Scania. It stratigraphical sequence from Lejopyge laevigata Zone (upper Paradoxides forchhammeri Superzone) to Holmia kjerulfi-group Cambrian). There is no faunal evidence for presence Acadoparadoxides oelandicus Superzone. 28.30 consists dark grey black mudstones shales (Alum Shale) with stinkstones beds. Three major beds were identified: "Fragment Limestone" (0.35 m), Exsulans Limestone (0.40 Andrarum (1.55 m). richly fossiliferous, except six metres, agnostoid trilobites generally dominate faunas. Polymeroid indeterminate lingulate brachiopods are abundant some levels. trilobite species used erect biostratigraphical subdivision into seven biozones. preservation good 32 identified level. excellent limestones allowed description growth stages pygidia Ptychagnostus punctuosus (Angelin, 1851).
