摘要: BACKGROUND Augmented reality (AR) technology that can combine computer-generated images with a real scene has been reported in the medical field recently. We devised AR system for evaluation of improvements body surface, which is important plastic surgery. METHODS constructed an easy to modify by combining existing devices and free software. superimposed 3-dimensional surface bone (obtained from VECTRA H1 CT) onto actual surgical Moverio BT-200 smart glasses evaluated 8 cases. RESULTS In all cases, 3D image was successfully projected on field. Improvement display method made it easier distinguish different shapes field, making comparison easier. patient fibrous dysplasia, symmetrized useful confirming improvement surface. complex facial fracture, simulated as reference reduction. osteoma forehead, simultaneously displayed understand these positional relationships. CONCLUSIONS This study confirmed helpful several clinical applications. Our findings are not only but also effective utilization
