Articular and Muscular Manifestations in Behçet’s Disease

摘要: Articular manifestations are frequent in BD since articulations involved 40–74 % of patients. Joint involvement is the first manifestation 11–34 and may appear several years before other symptoms. Knees, wrists, ankles, elbows more often affected while small joints hands feet less common. Arthralgia main symptoms 80 patients arthritis common includes mono-articular oligo-articular lesions. Erosive changes rare. The analysis synovitis frequently shows a neutrophilic inflammation. Muscle uncommon it mainly affects lower extremities. Authors have described neutrophil-mediated vasculitis myositis BD.
