摘要: Abstract The reservoir architecture of methane hydrate (MH) bearing turbidite channels in the eastern Nankai Trough, offshore Japan is evaluated using a combination 3-D seismic and well data. On section, MH-bearing correspond to complex patterns strong reflectors, which show internal channel complex. A seismic-sequence stratigraphic analysis reveals that can be roughly classified into three different stages depositional sequence (upper, middle, lower). Each results system primarily controls channels. To construct facies model, stacking are interpreted, heterogeneities sediments discussed. identified at upper around β1 exhibit low-sinuosity consisting various widths range from tens several hundreds meters. Paleo-current flow directions typically oriented along north-northeast-to-south-southwest direction. High-amplitude were above north-to-south north-northeast-to-south-southeast directions. These coincide with paleo-current An interval velocity high-density shows anomalies (>2000 m/s) found on northeastern side stage exhibits slightly older sediment than remaining Hence, related supply, this may lead architectures
