摘要: The objective of the present study was to assess changes in land use/land cover patterns coastal town Silivri, a part greater Istanbul administratively. In assessment, remotely sensed data, form satellite images, and geographic information systems were used. Types designated as percentage total area studied. Results calculated from data for classification compared successfully with database Coordination Information on Environment (CORINE). This served reference appraise reliability presented here. CORINE Program established by European Commission create harmonized Geographical System state environment Community. Unplanned urbanization is causing use mainly developing countries such Turkey. situation Turkey frequently observed city Istanbul.
