摘要: Nutrient enrichment of the South Umpqua River, Oregon was linked to periphyton growth and large diel fluctuations in dissolved oxygen hydrogen ion (pH) concentrations using water quality model QUAL2Kw. The available data provide a good case study for relatively new model. QUAL2Kw simulates dynamic heat budget kinetics one-dimensional, steady-flow system is part family models meant serve as an update widely used QUAL2E. quantify nonpoint source loading, determine pollutant concern, estimate natural conditions, calculate phosphorus total maximum daily load during summer, low-flow conditions. Control both point sources required achieve low instream necessary meet criteria. To our knowledge, this first paper that reports on application computing allowable manage variation pH.
