摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter explains the existence of polymodal receptors in visceral afferent type C - neurones. However, concept nociception is difficult to apply viscera; cutting, crushing, or burning tissue generally produces no pain. Excessive distension hollow viscera, such as intestine bladder, can activate mechanoreceptors C-fibres and evoke pain, but it not possible say if stimuli are tissue-damaging. Furthermore, many cases, this discusses disease pain that arises from C-neurones. cases somatic structures innervated same spinal segments troubled viscus, suggests phenomenon has a mechanism.
