摘要: A theoretical and experimental investigation is made of the magnitude nature dielectric losses in weakly absorbing synthetic diamonds wavelength range 1.75–6.8 mm at temperatures T=20–500 °C. Some samples exhibited extremely low (tan δ <10−5) which makes plasma-chemically deposited diamond wafers suitable for fabricating windows megawatt continuous gyrotrons. It shown that principle, a further substantial reduction can be achieved.
