摘要: Abstract A one-dimensional, isothermal, single-phase model is presented to investigate the mass transport in a direct ethanol fuel cell incorporating an alkaline anion exchange membrane. The electrochemistry analytically solved and closed-form solution provided for two limiting cases assuming Tafel expressions both oxygen reduction oxidation. multi-layer membrane proposed properly account diffusive electroosmotic of through fundamental differences crossover positive negative drag coefficients are discussed. It found that significantly reduced upon using instead proton membrane, especially at current densities higher than 500 A m − 2 .
