摘要: Spatia relationships and microhabitat selection were studied in syntopic populations of small mammals. Four hundred three individuals 7 species (Sore.x araneus, Sorex minutus, Crocidura suaveclenCrocidura leucodon, Clethrionomys glareolus, Apodemus sylvaticus, Mus musculus) trapjed six north Italian biotopes, between June 1988 September 1989. The wood mouse wa; present all biotopes was, numerically, the dominant species; bank vole was second most abundant species. Habitat preferences similar to those reported for northern Europe bu: also habitats other than ancient woodlands. Community diversity md richness positively correlated with habitat structural diversity. selected rricro- that significantly different from available; ground cover at arboreil aid grass level litter structure generally important variables. There jignficant differences use among intensity segregitioi higher mature woodland alder grove which may reflect their management.
