摘要: Particles entrained from a pilot scale fluidized bed of sand having mean size 102 μm have been captured and analysed at superficial air velocities up to 1.3 m/s. Variation temperature over the range 300 445 K insertion tube bundle in splash zone had little effect on measured entrainment fluxes. Existing correlations for predicting beds gave widely divergent results, generally differed markedly experimental data. Of tested, graphical saturation carrying-capacity correlation Zenz Weil best agreement with The distribution particles carried low gas but approached in-bed higher velocities.
