摘要: Rotifers and Artemia salina nauplii are the most widely used live prey for newly hatched larvae, but they do not always promote optimal survival growth. Alternative food sources such as copepods, which bypass these inadequacies adequate growth, needed viewed with considerable interest by scienti¢c community. The aim of present study was to test two diierent diets [rotifers A. (group A) a mixture B) rotifers/Tisbe spp. copepods nauplii/copepods] during larval rearing striped blenny Meiacanthus grammistes. analysis rate, size (total length wet weight) metamorphosis time phase this species showed thatTisbe administration can signi¢cantly improve growth also reduce time. results obtained related fatty acid content essential in order captive production M. grammistes through closed system and, turn, preserve natural stocks.
