摘要: 2 Abstract: The heavy metals or trace elements play vital role in the metabolic pathways during growth and development of plants, when available adequate concentration. Seasonal fruits vegetables a significant human nutrition. Food production its safety is an important aspect measure any nation's growing economy it popular trend to find out metal contents local markets throughout world but still data lacking developing countries like Pakistan. Co, Zn, K, Na, Fe, Mn, Ca, Mg, Cu, Ni were analyzed 15 (okra, guava, banana, potato, chili paper, onion, tomato, mint, mango, ginger, brinjal, bitter gourd, spinach, carrot) Hyderabad city. Vegetables selected for study are commonly consumed by all income groups Mineral determined using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS). Co was 0.1038-0.126 mg/100 gm, Zn 0.44-0.55 K 2.3-38.5 Na 1.5-2. Mn 0.0526-0.1435 Ca 0.3-3.35 Mg 1.191-32. 0 gm while Cu 0.1-1.9 0.05-0.18 where as Fe found 1.5-29.0 among fruits.
