The evidence literature, for treatment these conditions is scant at best. There paucity randomised controlled trials available concerning possible therapeutic options. Aims/Methods We describe reports due to diverse underlying aetiologies. then discuss aetiologies general particular cases finally include results literature search examining any options proposed. Results Our have different, One Charles Bonnet syndrome. next associated with vascular dementia. final first two interest efficacy Amisulpride both clinical scenarios. Conclusions phenomenon elderly myriad causes. number neurochemical factors neuroanatomical structures implicated. psychopharmacological interventions scanty. Randomised lacking area. An interesting finding series, was utility Amisulpiride. Given agent’s unique profile it that may efficacious other factors.
