摘要: The accuracy of 3D reconstructions the craniomaxillofacial region using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is important for morphological evaluation specific anatomical structures. Moreover, an accurate segmentation process fundamental physical reconstruction anatomy (3D printing) when a preliminary simulation therapy required. In this regard, objective study to evaluate four different types software semiautomatic mandibular jaw compared manual segmentation, used as gold standard. Twenty with approach (Mimics) and semi-automatic (Invesalius, ITK-Snap, Dolphin 3D, Slicer 3D) were selected mandible in present study. was evaluated: (1) by comparing volumes obtained rendering (2) deviation analysis between two models. An variance (ANOVA) differences volumetric recordings among used. Linear regression also performed methods. No significant found total models (Mimics = 40.85 cm3, ITK-Snap 40.81 Invesalius 40.04 42.03 40.58 cm3). High correlations approach, R coefficients ranging from 0,960 0,992. According analysis, showed highest matching percentage (Tolerance A 88.44%, Tolerance B 97.30%), while those lowest 60.01%, 87.76%) (p < 0.05). Colour-coded maps that area greatest mismatch condylar proximate dental roots. Despite fact showed, general, high reliability correlation caution should be taken evaluating dimensional characteristics condyles either on CBCT-derived digital or printing).
