摘要: Abstract A functional role of the neuropeptide galanin, executed through three G-protein coupled receptor subtypes GAL₁₋₃, has been demonstrated in many biological systems and under pathological circumstances. Galanin is involved central peripheral actions, particular associated with endocrine mechanisms such as anterior pituitary hormone regulation, reproduction, glucose metabolism also inflammation. The galanin pathology polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) possible therapeutic effects are unknown. However, based on well known neuroendocrine changes PCOS patients, it may be assumed that via gonadotropin-releasing (GnRH) secretory neurons could play a significant development PCOS. aim this study was to examine hormonal, metabolic molecular parameters Accordingly, intraperitoneal injection dose- dependent manner female rats induced reduction inflammatory markers (TNF-α, IL-6), an increase FSH decrease LH, insulin testosterone (using ELISA kit) compared groups. Moreover, data from real-time quantitative PCR showed significantly ameliorated mRNA levels steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) aromatase cytochrome P450 (CYP19). Taken together, neuroendocrine, anti- pro-inflammatory effects, we therefore suggest treatment peptide represent new approach for managing hormonal disturbances disease.
