摘要: The stomach contents of 158 hedgehogs captured at Macraes Flat, Otago, New Zealand, over two summers in 2000 and 2001 were examined for the occurrence lizards. remains least 43 skinks (both Oligosoma nigriplantare polychroma O. maccanni) one gecko (Hoplodactylus sp.) found. Twenty-one percent (n = 33; 8 males 25 females) had fed on skinks. Female ate significantly more than did males. Our results suggest that presence large numbers can have a high impact native reptile populations Zealand therefore they should be targeted future trapping programmes
