DARKDROID: Exposing the Dark Side of Android Marketplaces

摘要: Abstract : Our DarkDroid project aims to protect Android devices from their many security threats. In DarkDoid, we developed novel approaches issues based on both static and dynamic analysis techniques pinpoint a variety of malicious behaviors, including logic bombs, dynamically-loaded code, GUI-based deception attacks, DOS-related evasive apps that use the complexity framework disguise automatic systems. Moreover, our can detect containing intentional unintentional vulnerabilities, such as unsafe code loading mechanisms misuse crypto APIs. We also studied discovered several weaknesses in Androids permission system; explored behavior possibility sandboxing an understudied, yet critical aspect -- native components apps.
