摘要: Male weanling rats were fed semi-synthetic diets high in saturated fat (beef tallow) vs linoleic acid (safflower oil) with or without levels of α-linolenic (linseed for a period 28 days. The effect feeding these on cholesterol content and fatty composition serum liver lipids was examined. Feeding linseed oil beef tallow safflower had no significant cholesterol. Serum concentration higher animals the diet than oil. lowered tissue all dietary treatments tested. Consumption reduced arachidonic concomitant increase lipid fractions only when combination tallow, but not Similarly, ω3 acids (18∶3ω3, 20∶5ω3, 22∶5ω3, 22∶6ω3) replaced ω6 (20∶4ω6, 22∶4ω6) to greater extent results suggest that ratio 18∶3ω3 18∶2ω6 may be important determine lowering acid.
