Calculations of Dispersion Curves and Specific Heat for LiF and NaCl Using the Breathing Shell Model

摘要: The model for the lattice dynamics of alkali halides as given in a previous paper is generalized to include case which both ions are polarizable. Dispersion curves and density states calculated LiF NaCl at 0 °K. Debye characteristic temperatures ΘD(T) °K 300 computed these crystals, good agreement with experimental values obtained. In einer vorhergehenden Arbeit wurde ein neues Modell fur die Gitterdynamik der Alkalihalogenide vorgeschlagen. Dieses wird verallgemeinert den Fall, das beide Ionen polarisierbar sind. Anschliesend werden Dispersionskurven und Zustandsdichten bei angegeben. Die ebenfalls berechneten Debye-Temperaturen dieser Kristalle stimmen gut mit experimentellen Ergebnissen uberein.
