摘要: Twenty crossbred wethers (41.9 ± 4.0 kg BW), each fitted with a ruminal cannula and jugular catheter, were used in completely ran- domized design to examine the effects of acidosis on plasma activities pancreatic enzymes fractional rates VFA absorption. Lambs had ad libitum access 50% concentrate diet. Acidosis was induced by an intraruminal dose glucose at 0, 6, 12, or 18 g/kg BW via cannula. Ruminal fluid collected 4, 8, 18, 24, 36, 48, 72 h after dosing. pH reduced (linear, P .10). Ten days insult, rumens evacuated contents replaced isotonic Cr:VFA solution measure hourly from 0 6 h. Fractional rate acetate absorption 13% lower for lambs receiving than control lambs. In addition, liquid passage ( < .05) mo insult acidosis. These data suggest that short-term, severe acute does not result tissue damage but may extended period time.
