摘要: In the fire ant Solenopsis invicta Buren, virgin females are capable of shedding their wings (dealation) and laying haploid eggs. However, dealation reproduction inhibited by a queen primer pheromone that depresses release Juvenile Hormone corpora allata. an attempt to identify other neural signals trigger reproductive system, we measured effect on brain biogenic amines separation from queen. Dopamine in increased 552 +/- 42 971 65 fMol/brain when were stimulated 15 days separation. Octopamine 5-hydroxytryptamine did not change significantly after Isolated fed with tyrosine hydroxylase inhibitor 3-iodo-L-tyrosine mixed sucrose for laid fewer eggs had chorionated oocytes ovarioles than only. Restoring dopamine biosynthesis adding L-dopa food also restored oogenesis oviposition. Dealation was affected or L-dopa. The possible role as target regarding its potent allotoregulatory insects is discussed.
