Monitoring web services' quality of service: a literature review

摘要: Monitoring Quality of Service (QoS) compliance is an important procedure in web service environment. It determines whether users' expectations are met, and becomes the vital factor for them to decide continue paying or not. The monitoring performed by checking actual services performance against QoS stated Level Agreement (SLA). In relation that, need vague specifications SLA has become more apparent nowadays. This paper reviews published literature on monitoring. A total 60 selected articles were systematically analyzed. There 23 through restrictive search criteria while other 37 based unrestrictive criteria. review shows that little evidence exists services. Providing ability specified vaguely could give new insights implications field. concludes with some recommended future works construct theory perform empirical research.
