摘要: Retro-1 is a small molecule that displays two important biological activities: First, it blocks the actions of certain toxins by altering their intracellular trafficking. Second, enhances activity oligonucleotides releasing them from entrapment in endosomes. This raises question whether involve same cellular target. Herein we report effects several analogues on both and oligonucleotides. We found affect but not vice-versa, while only compound affects both. indicates molecular target(s) involved processes are distinct.
