摘要: A specific and sensitive analysis of urinary normetanephrine (NMN), metanephrine (MN) 3-methoxy-tyramine was performed using reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with an electrochemical detector. Spectrophotometric methods are insensitive in the normal low abnormal ranges. The catecholamine method employed, is based on a modification BioRad Laboratories procedure [1] Shoup Kissinger [2]. Utilizing single cation-exchange resin, catecholamines eluted boric acid purified by adsorption alumina. metanephrines separated from other constituents elution ammonia same chromatographic column. recovery average 74% for normetanephrine, 65% 78% added standards. quantitative detection reactivity provides simple accurate analytical technique routine application.
