摘要: Herein we endow epoxidized natural rubber with antimicrobial activity by chemical modification. The is firstly ring-opened bromoacetic acid and then modified group quaternary phosphonium salt. Using the hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR) ICP atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), degree of epoxidation, convert ratio epoxy groups, phosphorus content products are measured, effects reaction time on structure investigated. possible mechanism side reactions in ring-opening procedure discussed through comparison data different time, ring-expansion supposed to be dominated reactions. thermal properties rubbers structural factors behind also investigated using differential scanning calorimeter thermogravimetric analyzer. Antimicrobial activities toward Escherichia coli studied, may increase salt groups. This research have benefit for optimizing chemically rubbers.
