摘要: Abstract A novel energy storage system employing a KS-6 graphite cathode and niobium (V) oxide (Nb 2 O 5 ) anode was developed with 1:1 weight ratio of to anode. The cell, voltage range 1.5–3.5 V, showed higher capacity better cycle performance than those cells other ranges. At 1C 35C rates, this cell delivered 57 26 mAh g −1 , respectively. can be increased approximately 5.2 V, which is well above the LIB material, without causing safety issues, operating Nb greater that lithium deposition voltage. In situ X-ray diffraction results at various states charge indicated mechanism intercalation de-intercalation PF 6 − Li + in This inherently safe because 1) no oxygen released from materials, 2) dendrite used anode, 3) there possibility overcharge electrode/electrolyte reaction.
