摘要: Thirty-eight young adults participated in the study. They were divided a caries-inactive group, low caries activity group and moderate to high group. Total cultivable bacteria, Streptococcus salivarius, S. mutans plaque saliva quantitated on TSA, MS, MSB plates, respectively. Sucrase was determined by measuring reducing sugars after incubation with sucrose, α-Amylase Pharmacia Phadebas® Amylase test. The data analyzed non-parametric Mann–Whitney U only significant difference observed for α-amylase between moderate-high (P < 0.05). lack of differences concerning other variables is discussed mainly basis multifactorial character dental possible insufficiency applied methods.
