摘要: Intracellular killing of bacteria is one the fundamental mechanisms against invading pathogens. Impaired intracellular by phagocytes may be reason chronic infections and caused antibiotics or substances that can produced some bacteria. Therefore, it was great practical importance to examine whether phage preparations influence process phagocyte It important especially in case patients qualified for experimental therapy (approximately half with bacterial have their immunity impaired). Our analysis included 51 Gram-negative Gram-positive treated at Phage Therapy Unit Wroclaw. The aim study investigate effect on patients' peripheral blood monocytes polymorphonuclear neutrophils. We observed does not reduce phagocytes' ability kill bacteria, affect activity initially reduced intracellularly. results suggest has no significant adverse effects bactericidal properties phagocytes, which confirms safety therapy.
