摘要: Abstract High temperature oxidation behaviors of electroless Ni–P, Ni–B and Ni–W–B coatings that are deposited on mild steel substrates were investigated in a range 600–800 °C. Oxide films formed the surfaces coated samples characterized by X-ray diffraction analyses. Oxidation evaluated monitoring oxide character iron diffusion through structure glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy (GDOES). The results indicated properties depend not only coating itself, but also interdiffusion processes, which take place between substrate deposit. For Ni–P steel, started to part during treatment at 700 °C, resulting loss protective oxide. Depletion boron within formation nickel borates observed for B containing deposits. Diffusion surface took 700 °C coatings, as drastic Ni–P. behavior was similar general. However, presence W decreased delayed oxides. At 800 °C, all three degrade due higher rate surface. this study showed it is possible increase resistance alloying them with W.
