摘要: Purpose The aim of this study was to investigate the effects triptolide on tooth movement and root resorption in rats during orthodontic treatment. Material methods A total 48 male Wistar were divided into three groups 16 each. right maxillary first molars drawn mesially by closed coil nickel-titanium spring with a force 50 g. two experimental received intraperitoneal injections for 14 days at dose 15 µg/kg/day 30 µg/kg/day, respectively. control group vehicle injections. For remaining eight group, H&E staining, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) staining immunohistochemistry performed. In contrast, osteoprotegerin up-regulated. tension side, expressions runt-related transcription 2 osteocalcin enhanced injection. Conclusion Triptolide injection could arrest reduce via inhibition osteoclastogenesis. addition, may exert positive effect osteoblastogenesis.
